I imagined a full circle in the sky one evening. It was monolithic in size, brilliant gold. You could never view it in full completion at any one point in time. Its edges were hidden because of its vastness, stretching across the sky.

I have painted those I love outside the normal space we inhabit. A space to observe this sphere, where we may observe the purpose of our lived experience and perhaps why we live through despair, uncertainty and anguish.

These individuals are my brothers, kindred spirits and my love. All of whom are before this threshold, a moment away from tracing the full silhouette of the divine shape, to finally know the beginning from the end.
